La seu de plaça Nova del Col·legi participa al 48 h Open House Barcelona

El 25 i 26 d’octubre tindrà lloc una nova edició del 48 H Open House Barcelona, un esdeveniment de caràcter divulgatiu i gratuït durant el qual hi haurà portes obertes gratuïtes a més de 150 edificis de tot tipus, forma i mida.
Així, la seu del Col·legi d’Arquitectes a plaça Nova es podrà recórrer — d’11 a 19 h el dissabte 25 i d’11 a 14 h el diumenge 26— en visites guiades per arquitectes de l’Agrupació d’Arquitectes en Defensa i la Intervenció en el Patrimoni Arquitectònic (AADIPA).
48 H Open House és un projecte obert a tothom i sense ànim de lucre que va començar a Barcelona l'any 2010. Es tracta d’una iniciativa transversal, adreçada especialment als barcelonins, que implica la participació de diferents agents socials, tècnics i artístics per "obrir la bona arquitectura a la ciutat". L'objectiu és fer-los viure l'arquitectura i la ciutat, donant-los l'oportunitat de remirar-la.
Enguany, el festival torna a donar suport als professionals sumant-hi una iniciativa més, la promoció del mARQet d’Arquitectura, la fira dels joves arquitectes, organitzada per l’Agrupació de Joves Arquitectes de Catalunya (AJAC).

Presentación del concurso de ideas 'Pasajes metropolitanos’

El 21 de octubre a las 19 h se presenta, en la sala de actos de plaça Nova, el concurso de idees ‘Pasajes Metropolitanos: una mirada a los proyectos metropolitanos desde la pequeña escala’, una iniciativa impulsada por el Àrea Metropolitana de Barcelona junto con el Institute de la Ville en Mouvement de París y dentro del marco del Programa internacional ‘Passages, espace de transition pour la ville du XXI siecle’.
Se trata de un concurso de reflexión y propuesta sobre Pasajes Metropolitanos como elementos activadores de las articulaciones del territorio para mejorar la calidad de vida de las persones. Desde el 20 de octubre de 2014 al 20 de febrero de 2015 se abriran sucesivamente las convocatorias de los seis emplazamienots objecto de concurso.
El aforo es limitado y es necesaria la inscripción previa.

mARQet 2014

Times are changing rapidly and so is our profession. The traditional figure of the architect is being transformed into an increasingly diversified and more open profession, in which young professionals are constantly reinventing themselves and taking advantage of the diversity of knowledge provided by architectural studies and their application in other fields.
In an ever more global world that is constantly changing, channels of communication have become essential tools for carving out a niche in the labour market. The task of communicating has become a hugely important tool in the profession of the architect, and this knowledge is not necessarily available in universities.
mARQet was established with the specific objective of helping young architects in this challenging task of communication—and what better channel could there be than the market itself, the epitome of trade?
Following the success of its first edition, mARQet aims to continue providing support and improving year after year. It has therefore been decided to transfer mARQet to Arts Santa Mònica, a central and very visible venue, accompanied by a series of side events both during the day and in the evening.
The Architects’ Fair will take place on 24, 25 and 26 October, and all you need to do to participate is read the rules and submit your application. Places are open until every available space in Arts Santa Mònica has been filled.
mARQet will be held in the balcony hall, spilling over onto the outside ramp, highlighting its relationship with society and the outside world. The Catalan Government’s support has helped the project grow and flourish, to demonstrate that the profession of the architect is about culture and that we need to nurture, protect and promote it. This year, mARQet coincides with the 9th edition of the AJAC Awards, organized every two years by the Association of Young Architects of Catalonia.
The prize-giving ceremony of the 9th AJAC Awards will be held at Arts Santa Mònica on the evening of Friday 24 October, as part of mARQet’s programme of activities.
