XII Biennal Alejandro de la Sota, in Tarragona
The exhibition of XII BIENNAL ALEJANDRO DE LA SOTA - MOSTRA D'ARQUITECTURA DE TARRAGONA shows the projects presented in this contest which aims to distinguish the most significant works that have been built in the 2019-2020 biennium in the territorial scope of the Demarcation (Alt Camp, Baix Camp, Baix Penedès, Conca de Barberà, Priorat and Tarragonès).
It can be seen from December 13, 2022 to January 13, 2023, in the room under the Subdelegation of the Government in Tarragona (Plaça Imperial Tàrraco, 3, Tarragona).
Opening of this traveling exhibition on December 20, 2022 at 12:30 p.m., with the intervention of the Subdelegate of the Government in Tarragona and Víctor Pujol Hugàs, member of the board of the Tarragona Region of the College of Architects of Catalonia.
This year, of the 55 works entered in this Exhibition, the jury has decided to select 23, of which 13 have gone on to the next phase as finalist works. Finally, the jury has decided to award 6 works as winners and 1 of them has simultaneously received the sixth Alejandro de la Sota Award.
This exhibition, conceived as an open system with the capacity to adopt various geometries and adapt to different spaces, shows six audiovisuals that respond to each of the categories of the Biennale.

La exposición de la XII BIENNAL ALEJANDRO DE LA SOTA - MOSTRA D'ARQUITECTURA DE TARRAGONA muestra los proyectos presentados en este certamen que tiene como objetivo distinguir las obras más significativas que se han construido en el bienio 2019-2020 en el ámbito territorial de la Demarcación (comarcas del Alt Camp, el Baix Camp, el Baix Penedès, la Conca de Barberà, el Priorat y el Tarragonès).
Se podrá ver del 13 de diciembre de 2022 al 13 de enero de 2023, en la sala Sota de la Subdelegación del Gobierno en Tarragona (Plaza Imperial Tárraco, 3, Tarragona).
Inauguración de esta exposición itinerante el día 20 de diciembre de 2022 a las 12:30 h, con la intervención del Subdelegado del Gobierno a Tarragona y de Víctor Pujol Hugàs, vocal de la junta de la Demarcación de Tarragona del Colegio de Arquitectos de Cataluña.
Este año, de las 55 obras inscritas en esta Muestra, el jurado ha decidido seleccionar 23, de las cuales 13 han pasado a la siguiente fase como obras finalistas. Finalmente, el jurado ha decidido galardonar 6 obras como ganadoras y 1 de ellas ha recibido a la vez el sexto Premio Alejandro de la Sota.
Esta exposición, concebida como un sistema abierto con capacidad para adoptar varias geometrías y adaptarse en diferentes espacios, muestra seis audiovisuales que responden a cada una de las categorías de la Bienal.

Presentation of the book "Gaudí en Madrid. Ciclo de mesas. Madrid, abril-mayo de 2002 (reedición)"
On the occasion of the 150th Anniversary of the birth of Antonio Gaudí, the Fundación Independente organized from April 3 to May 8, 2002, in six prestigious Madrid entities, a very important Ciclo, so that the life and work of Gaudí was studied, analyzed and debated. The cycle began at the Centro Cultural de la Villa of Madrid and was closed at the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando. Between both acts, Mesas en el Ateneo, Fundación Cultural del Colegio de Arquitectos, the Centro Cultural Blanquerna and the Círculo de Bellas Artes.
Three prominent historians spoke to us about "Gaudí en su tiempo". Three well-known Gaudí biographers spoke at the table dedicated to "Gaudí y su biografía". The session in which "Gaudí arquitecto" was addressed had four speakers of singular importance. The table "Gaudí y la Sagrada Familia" was dedicated to his capital work. It was obligatory that a session be dedicated to "Gaudí y el Modernismo". The cycle was closed with the table "Gaudí y su proyección". Notable personalities took part in all of them.
The book Gaudí in Madrid, promoted by the Fundación Independente and published in 2002, comprehensively covers the events held. This re-edition, improved and updated, is published by the Fundación ADIPROPE and Centro Gaudí Madrid, on the occasion of the 20th Anniversary.
