Conference "Renewables - Landscape - Urbanism"
What aspects are identified as problematic when dealing with the deployment of renewable energies? Renewable energies are considered a clean and almost inexhaustible resource provided by nature, but the strategies for their implementation in the territory are generating some discrepancies.
On Tuesday 24 October 2023, the Tarragona, Lleida and Ebre Demarcations of the College of Architects of Catalonia (COAC) are organizing, together with the Urban Architects Association of Catalonia (AAUC), the conference 'RENOVABLES - LANDSCAPE - URBANISM', at the assembly hall of COAC Tarragona, (Carrer Sant Llorenç, 20-22), with the aim of explaining and debating the situation of renewable energies and how they affect the territory.

¿Quins aspectes s’identifiquen com a problemàtics a l’hora d’afrontar el desplegament d’energies renovables? Les energies renovables es consideren un recurs net i gairebé inesgotable que proporciona la naturalesa, però les estratègies de la seva implantació al territori estan generant algunes discrepàncies.
El dimarts 24 d’octubre de 2023, les Demarcacions de Tarragona, Lleida i Ebre del Col·legi d’Arquitectes de Catalunya (COAC) organitzen, juntament amb l’Agrupació d’Arquitectes Urbanistes de Catalunya (AAUC), la jornada ‘RENOVABLES – PAISATGE – URBANISME’, a la seu del COAC Tarragona, (carrer Sant Llorenç, 20-22), amb la voluntat d’explicar i debatre la situació de les energies renovables i com aquestes afecten el territori.

Parc del Port
On Thursday, September 14, 2023, at 7 p.m., in the COAC Tarragona assembly hall, the “Parc del Port” exhibition will be inaugurated, where we will have the intervention of Saül Garreta Puig, President of the Port of Tarragona, by Jordi J. Romera y Cid, President of the Tarragona Demarcation of the College of Architects of Catalonia and with a conference by the architects who won the competition, where they will explain their proposal.
The exhibition includes the winning project, the four finalists and the rest of the proposals submitted to the ideas contest published by the Port of Tarragona for the urban transformation of the institutional buildings. The idea of the competition was to create a large 8,000 m² urban park around the institutional headquarters and the administrative headquarters of the Tarragona Port Authority that would contribute to improving connectivity with the city of Tarragona and between the Moll de Costa and the Paseo de Miracle, promote sustainable mobility and reduce carbon emissions.
The Tarragona Demarcation of the College of Architects of Catalonia hosts the exhibition "Parc del Port", which can be visited from August 1 to September 29, 2023, in the exhibition hall.

Parque del Puerto
El jueves día 14 de septiembre de 2023, a las 19 h, en la sala de actos del COAC Tarragona, se hará la inauguración de la exposición “Parque del Puerto”, donde contaremos con la intervención de Saül Garreta Puig, Presidente del Puerto de Tarragona, de Jordi J. Romera y Cid, Presidente de la Demarcación de Tarragona del Colegio de Arquitectos de Cataluña y con una conferencia de las arquitectas ganadoras del concurso, donde explicarán su propuesta.
La exposición recoge el proyecto ganador, los cuatro finalistas y el resto de propuestas presentadas al concurso de ideas publicado por el Puerto de Tarragona para la transformación urbanística de la en torno a los edificios institucionales. La idea del concurso era crear un gran parque urbano de 8.000 m² alrededor de la sede institucional y de la sede administrativa de la Autoridad Portuaria de Tarragona que contribuya a mejorar la conectividad con la ciudad de Tarragona y entre el Moll de Costa y el paseo de Miracle, impulsar la movilidad sostenible y reducir las emisiones de carbono.
La Demarcación de Tarragona del Colegio de Arquitectos de Cataluña acoge la exposición “Parque del Puerto”, que se podrá visitar del 1 de agosto al 29 de septiembre de 2023, en la sala de exposiciones.
